About Us
RuralRise is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving and uplifting rural communities in Namibia. Our program is designed to promote rural community development by empowering community projects. Through these initiatives, we aim to mitigate rural-urban migration and cultivate sustainable growth in rural areas.
Our mission is to collaborate with local community organizations and stakeholders to strengthen rural community development. We recognize the need for sustainable, long-term solutions to the challenges faced by rural communities, especially in sustaining community projects, small businesses and other community led programs that often struggle and incur debts within a few months of operation.
RuralRise evolved from the lessons learned through implementing government projects aimed at alleviating social stresses. We aspire to serve as a monitoring and evaluation agent, identifying risk factors within community projects and recommending viable solutions. By offering guidance and continued incubation, we intend to ensure the success and sustainability of these vital community initiatives.
Together, we can nurture rural growth, foster education, and promote sustainable development for a brighter future in the Erongo Region.
